CURIOSITIES · INTERESTS

Beyond work,
the things that keep me curious.

They are not footnotes to my professional life. They are how I sense the world, understand others and return to myself.

Collecting & Making

With my hands, I collect the world and create a small universe of my own.

Psychologically, collecting can answer deep needs for order, belonging and continuity. I am definitely someone with a strong collecting instinct: coins from more than 100 countries and several thousand badges make up my secret hideaway. I also like making things and getting personally involved. When I feel restless, working with my hands helps me slow down and become absorbed.

Learning & Exploration

Only after leaving school did I begin to discover how enjoyable learning can be.

I learn through experience. I love entering unfamiliar fields, exploring them from the inside and building understanding through first-hand experiments. Every new insight feels like another door opening in the world — that sense of discovery, connection and growth is exhilarating.

Psychology

Understanding our inner worlds is a lifelong study.

From postgraduate study at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to counseling practice and inner-growth exploration, I study motivation, relationships, emotion and human agency — including how AI can support rather than replace real connection.

Travel

Travel is not simply reaching a distant place. It is allowing the world to change you.

Work has taken me across more than a dozen countries on four continents. In 2013, I spent a month in spiritual study at Oneness University in India. Markets, landscapes and people have all expanded the way I understand the world.
