I meet the world,
and become myself within it.
Throughout the journey, I have been grateful for the optimism and initiative I carry with me. I have stayed true to my inner voice and claimed every opportunity I could along the way.
Over more than a decade of work, I have travelled across dozens of countries, riding the tide of Chinese companies going global. In unfamiliar markets and cultures, I have built businesses—but I have also been continually rebuilding myself. As the poet Lu You wrote, “What one learns on paper is always shallow; true understanding comes from doing.” Growth, to me, is not simply knowing more. It is moving closer to life, experiencing it fully, and allowing reality to revise my answers.
Across all seas, I travel with joy.
I want to gather here what I have seen, learned and thought along the way. Part sharing, part reflection—so that every departure leaves an echo, and this one life is not lived in vain.
